Kiva Update!

Just got the verification that another $2.10 has been paid back on the micro-finance loan I made through KIVA.  This brings the total paid back to $14.70 out of $25.00 lent.

Kiva Update 2-4-11...

As of today, another $2.10 has been repaid on the microfinancing loan I provided through Kiva, for a total of $12.60 repaid out of $25.00.

This was a loan to an man in Iraq to sell CD/DVDs, etc.

Kiva update!

Another $2.10 of my microfinance loan has been paid back for a grand total of $6.30!

Evidently, business is doing well for the gentleman that I loaned to.

Well, I am happy to tell you, that out of $25.00 loaned, $4.80 has been paid back!

Unlike traditional loans, you or I do not receive any interest on our loan, but we do get to know that what we are providing more than just a hand-out.
